What We Do

We believe in quality vs. quantity.

It is our job to ensure that our clients are presented with quality candidates.

BUSINESSES

Generally, working through a recruitment consultant is the way to go because it is a way of saving you hours of time and allows you to get on with what matters most in your work schedule.

CANDIDATES

You may be currently employed or be living elsewhere. It is tough having to have to attend interviews that require taking time off work or spending money unnecessarily. We are here to make things easier for you so that you do not interview for positions that are unsuitable.

It's our job to:

  1. Take a detailed job spec and to focus on the client’s strategy, culture and management style we then advertise this comprehensive job spec.

  2. A full CV will then be requested from the applicant together with a recent professional photograph. (This is important when you are living elsewhere)

  3. We then sort through all applications thoroughly.

  4. The possible candidates are sent a detailed questionnaire related to the vacant position.

  5. A decision is made on who ticks the majority of boxes and those candidates are then shortlisted.

  6. The shortlisted candidates are then contacted and we arrange an in-depth interview with them.

  7. We assess the candidates' suitability and do a reference checks. (This is absolutely essential.)

  8. We keep in contact with the client throughout the entire process and send through the suitable candidates' applications (Usually up to three applications.)

  9. Interviews are then arranged and feedback is requested from both client and candidate. (Both parties need to be enthusiastic and the salary, though naturally important, should not necessarily be the deciding factor.)

  10. When the client meets the “right candidate” we handle the negotiations in a professional manner, which includes drawing up an Offer of Employment. (No candidate should resign before receiving this offer in writing.)

  11. Once an agreed starting date is confirmed, we will arrange for a contract to be drawn up and signed by both parties.

  12. After the applicant has commenced work for the client, we will ensure that both the employer and the employee are happy with the outcome of a successful placement and that there is trust in future.

  13. It is very important that we stay in touch with both parties – communication is vital!

At Lynne Harris Recruitment we strive to build a positive relationship with
both the employer and the candidate, to be utterly professional,
honest and not to waste anyone’s time.
